Breath, Body, Spirit

A six-week live immersion into breathwork, somatics, and personal ritual.

What This Course Is

Most people who practice deep breathwork have had a powerful experience or two. They've felt something shift — emotion move through, clarity arrive, something loosen in the body that had been held for years.

And then they go home. And they're not quite sure what happened, how to return to it, or what to do with what arose.

Breath, Body, Spirit exists to bridge that gap.

This is a six-week live immersion into the foundations that make breathwork not just powerful — but coherent, sustainable, and genuinely yours. You'll learn how breath interacts with your nervous system, your body, and your emotional landscape. You'll develop somatic awareness — the ability to read your body's language and work with what it's telling you. And you'll build a personal ritual practice that creates intentional space for your inner work, week after week.

This is not facilitator training. This is empowerment training.

Whether you're brand new to breathwork or have years of experience, these foundations will change how you practice — and how you live.

In Breath, Body, Spirit, you will:

  • Understand how breathwork works — in your nervous system, your body, and your emotional landscape — so you can engage it with skill and intention rather than just hoping something happens

  • Build somatic awareness — learning to track sensation, recognize your body's signals, and work with what arises rather than pushing through or shutting down

  • Release physical and emotional armoring — through breath, movement, sound, and self-touch — creating more ease, aliveness, and presence in your body

  • Develop a personal ritual framework — non-dogmatic, earth-based practices for creating safe, intentional containers for your inner work

  • Integrate expanded states — so that what happens in a journey actually takes root in your daily life

  • Build the capacity to hold yourself — with safety, discernment, and sovereignty — in intense or expanded states

Meet your guide

Hi, I'm Briana Lynn — Somatic Breathwork Guide and Integrative Coach based in Portland, Oregon.

I created Breath, Body, Spirit because I know what it's like to have powerful experiences — in breathwork, in therapy, in life — and not quite know what to do with them. To feel something shift and then watch it fade because the integration and the framework weren't there to hold it.

This course gathers the practices that have been most transformative in my own healing and makes them teachable, repeatable, and genuinely yours. My role is to guide, support, and help you build the skills to hold yourself — with safety, reverence, and sovereignty.

All of you is welcome here.

“Working with Briana was the greatest gift I've ever given myself. Don't hesitate. The tools, resources, and container she provides are worth the investment alone, but Briana as a teacher (her energy, guidance, compassion, and positivity) is a benefit beyond measure. I had never felt more safe than in the container she offered. The tools she shared helped prepare me to establish a personal practice unique to myself. Our work together opened up doors within myself that I hadn't believed I had capacity for. Nothing I had tried previously went to that depth. This is some of the most impactful self-work I've engaged in.”

~ Jessica H.

  • "Briana was an amazing facilitator giving thorough and insightful background beforehand and thoughtful and caring guidance throughout the whole experience which made me feel safe, seen, and held throughout. What I most appreciated was Briana's deep respect for everyone having their own experience and her invitation to participate with freedom and authenticity. It was a powerful experience. I highly recommend engaging Briana if you are interested in exploring this work!"

    Ian W.

  • “Working with Briana was one of the most transformational somatic healing experiences I’ve ever had. I never felt so held as I let go of trauma stored deep in my physiology, that I didn’t know I had been holding onto. She created space for me to feel safe to move through my emotions, release trauma, and feel at home in my body. ”

    Lisset K.

  • “Breathwork - WOW - what an incredible tool. After seeing upwards of 7 different therapists with different styles of practice, briefly being on antidepressants, reading countless books on anxiety, breathwork really cracked my egg. My body released things I've been stubbornly keeping inside for maybe my entire teen and adult life.”

    Nicole R.

  • "Wow, Briana, thank you. When she says she’s trauma informed she means it. As somebody currently going through EMDR I am always looking for ways to integrate the important work I’m doing in therapy. I highly recommend Briana If you are looking for a safe space to feel your feelings in your body, make new discoveries, connect with the self, and come out the other side in the wondrous light of gratitude."

    Kymberlee

  • “These are really powerful sessions. Briana creates a safe, welcoming space and supports the entire process with guidance, encouragement and care."

    Kae B.

  • "Briana helped me breathe through some very difficult life experiences. Her approach is gentle, yet powerful. I felt a huge emotional release, clarity, and aliveness after my 1-1 session with her and could take a full, deep breath for the first time in months. She was also really good about following up and making sure I had the tools to integrate this into my life."

    Sarah B.

What happens in Breath, Body, Spirit?

Guided Breathwork

Breathwork speaks to the nervous system and the deeper subconscious places where memory, emotion, and pattern live. Throughout our time together, you’ll learn new tools, build awareness, and experience a variety of breathwork styles, each with a unique purpose. This practice works across body, mind, emotion, and spirit, gently bridging conscious and unconscious layers so transformation can take root.

Personalization

In each session, there will be space to ask questions, reflect on your experience, and gently explore what’s arising. You’ll also have the option to book private healing sessions at a discounted rate during the course for deeper support and integration.

Somatic Awareness

The body is a living archive of your experiences—emotion and memory, tension, and joy. When unresolved emotions haven’t had room to move, they can show up as patterns in the nervous system. Through somatic practices, we’ll grow awareness of sensation, build safety in the body as feelings arise, and open supportive pathways for expression and release—creating space for more ease, presence, and aliveness.

Integration Exercises

You will be offered a variety of integration prompts, homework assignments and self-care tools so you can integrate your breakthroughs and make breathwork, ritual and embodiment a part of your daily life to help you reach your goals and intentions.

Ancient Healing Practices

We’ll work with earth-based ceremonial tools to create a safe, resonant field for entering expanded states. These practices reconnect you with nature as a source of belonging, support, protection, and wisdom — and invite you back into the subtle, potent magic of being an integral part of the interconnected web of life.

Community

Community is a powerful part of this experience. You’ll move through the course alongside others who are learning, opening, and deepening right alongside you. In our weekly circles, we’ll share reflections, celebrate breakthroughs, and support one another through tender edges. This is a space to feel connected, inspired, and resourced by the collective.

  • You'll leave with a strong understanding of how breathwork works in your body and nervous system, along with practical tools for engaging it safely and intentionally. Many participants feel more confident practicing independently — others continue to value guided sessions. Both are valid. The goal is skill and discernment.

  • No. This course teaches the essential foundations that make breathwork safe, skillful, and empowering for your own personal practice. It does not certify you to facilitate breathwork for others.

  • This course focuses on the underlying mechanics, somatic literacy, and ritual frameworks that many people never formally learn — even experienced practitioners. You'll likely discover new depth, coherence, and integration through these foundations.

  • This depends on whether you're joining an online or in-person cohort.

For online cohorts: Set up a quiet, distraction-free space where you won't be interrupted and where you have room to lie down. A yoga mat or rug, flat pillow, bolster, one or two blankets, and an eye cover are all helpful. If you're in a shared space, let others know you may make sounds as part of your process. You'll also need a laptop or tablet, quality speakers or headphones, and a stable internet connection.

For in-person cohorts: The space, props, and materials are provided — just bring yourself. You're welcome to bring your own blanket or pillow if you have strong preferences about comfort.

    For both formats:

    • Timing: Leave space in your day after class — don't schedule anything immediately after that requires you to switch gears

    • Clothing: Loose and comfortable, dressed in layers

    • Food: Don't eat a large meal beforehand, but don't fast either. Bring a protein-rich snack for after

    • Journal: Have something to write in nearby

    • Substances: Please avoid alcohol, cannabis, and other substances for 24 hours prior to class

  • Breathwork is not recommended for people with the following conditions: pregnancy, epilepsy, detached retina, glaucoma, uncontrolled high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease or prior heart attack, certain mental health conditions (including active manic, bipolar, schizophrenic, or psychotic episodes), neurological conditions including strokes or seizures, aneurysms, use of prescription blood thinners, psychiatric hospitalization within the past 10 years, osteoporosis or unhealed physical injuries, COPD, or low impulse control. People with asthma should bring an inhaler and consult their physician. If you have any questions about whether this work is appropriate for you, please reach out before enrolling.

  • You'll have access to discounted 1:1 sessions with Briana for the duration of the course — for deeper support, personalized guidance, and integration work as needed.

  • Book a free 30-minute consultation and we'll talk it through.
